Quality Control & Testing Il controllo qualità

How Every WARMHAUS Pipe Is Tested — From Raw Material to Burst Pressure

WARMHAUS controls quality at every stage — raw-material inspection, in-line process control, burst and hydrostatic pressure testing with temperature and oxygen-barrier checks, and batch consistency — on PPR, PEX and brass systems made in Bologna, Italy, and audited by German SKZ and DVGW.

The QC Pipeline Dalla materia prima al container

The Quality-Control Pipeline Behind Every Pipe We Ship

WARMHAUS does not sell on the lowest price — we sell on quality you can verify. Every PPR, PEX and brass product leaving Bologna passes through documented control stages, from the moment raw material arrives to the final batch check before a container is sealed.

I.

Raw-Material Inspection

Incoming PP-R resin and brass stock are checked before they reach production — no hidden filler or off-spec material in your pipe.

II.

In-Line Process Control

Dimensions and extrusion parameters are monitored during production, for consistent wall thickness and fittings that weld cleanly.

III.

Burst & Hydrostatic Testing

Pressure resistance is tested to industry-standard methods, with temperature and oxygen-barrier checks — pipe that holds its rating, not just on paper.

IV.

Batch Consistency

Production is sampled and inspected batch by batch under ISO 9001, so your reorder matches your first order.

Stage by Stage Passo dopo passo

What Happens at Each Stage — and Why It Matters to Your Container

Below is exactly what each control stage does, framed to the question serious buyers actually ask: what does it protect for me?

I.

It Starts With the Material — Not the Marketing

Cheap pipe fails at the source: recycled or filler-loaded resin that looks fine but cracks under pressure and heat. At WARMHAUS, every batch of incoming PP-R resin and brass stock is checked before it reaches production, because a container of pipe is only as reliable as the material it started from. This is the first reason a Made-in-Italy pipe behaves differently from an anonymous low-cost import — and the first thing a distributor’s reputation quietly depends on. II.

In-Line Control — Catching Problems Before They Become a Container

Quality that is only checked at the end is quality you find out about too late. We monitor dimensions and extrusion parameters in line, while the pipe is being made, so wall thickness, diameter and surface stay within specification across the whole run — not just on the first sample. As an industry benchmark, PPR wall thickness and diameter are held to defined tolerance classes; documented in-line checks keep production inside those limits. For an installer, that means joints that do not leak; for a wholesaler, the tenth carton matches the first. WARMHAUS-specific check frequencies and tolerance ranges: Coming soon — on request.

III.

Pressure Testing — Because a Rating Is Only Worth Its Test

A pressure rating printed on a pipe means nothing until it is tested. We run burst pressure testing, which raises internal pressure until the pipe fails to confirm the safety margin above its rated pressure, and hydrostatic (long-term) pressure testing, which holds pipe under sustained pressure at elevated temperature to verify years of hot-water service. As general industry practice, PPR and PEX pipe are validated against long-term hydrostatic-strength standards before a pressure class is assigned; oxygen-barrier PEX for underfloor heating is made with an EVOH barrier layer to limit oxygen permeation into the heating circuit. WARMHAUS burst values, hydrostatic conditions, oxygen-barrier data and PN classes: Coming soon — on request.

IV.

Batch Consistency — Will Every Container Be This Good?

The real question a serious buyer asks is not “is this sample good?” but “will every container be this good?” Batch-consistency inspection samples and tests production batch by batch under our ISO 9001 quality system, so what you reorder next year matches what you approved this year — the first container and the tenth, the same pipe. Sampling frequency and batch-retention periods: Coming soon — on request.

Third-Party Proof Verificato dalla Germania

Verified in Our Lab, Audited by Germany

Quality that is only self-declared is still a promise. Ours is checked twice — internally, batch by batch, and externally by two of Europe’s most trusted authorities.

WARMHAUS answers the consistency question in two layers. Internally, batch-consistency inspection samples and tests production under our ISO 9001 quality system. Externally, our PPR is audited and type-tested by German SKZ and German DVGW — independent authorities whose recognition means our quality is not self-declared but verified against the standard. For a project buyer, that combination stands up under a client audit; for an importer, it justifies a premium Made-in-Italy price on the shelf.

Reports That Work Dal test al documento

From Test to Document — Get the Report Your Deal Needs

Test data only matters if it moves your deal forward. Here is how WARMHAUS testing turns into the documents buyers actually put to work.

i.

Project tenders

Pressure-test and compliance data, backed by DVGW and SKZ, let MEP contractors and developers specify WARMHAUS PPR into building tenders across the Gulf, North Africa, Southern and Eastern Europe — markets where tested, certified piping is a hard prequalification requirement.

ii.

Customs & import

Test reports plus ISO, SKZ and DVGW documentation support clearance and prove authentic Italian, German-audited quality — for importers across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Spain, Romania and the markets we are expanding into.

iii.

Distributor due diligence

A Test Report Sample and our QC-process summary give importers and agents verifiable proof to pass to end clients, so a premium Made-in-Italy line is backed by data that low-cost sources cannot show.

Pipe Quality & Testing — Frequently Asked Questions

For the Sourcing Agent
WARMHAUS controls quality stage by stage: raw-material inspection, in-line process control, burst and hydrostatic pressure testing, temperature and oxygen-barrier testing, and batch-consistency checks. Testing follows recognised industry standards, and our PPR is audited by German SKZ and DVGW. Specific measured values are available on request, so you can pass verified data to your end client.
For the Project Buyer
Yes. We run burst pressure testing to confirm the safety margin above rated pressure, and hydrostatic (long-term) pressure testing at elevated temperature to verify years of hot-water service — both to industry-standard methods.Exact test pressures, temperatures, durations and the matching PN class: Coming soon — shared on request for your tender documents.
For the Importer & Distributor
Yes. We provide test reports plus ISO 9001, SKZ and DVGW documentation for project tenders, customs clearance and market entry — from Saudi Arabia and the UAE to Egypt, Spain and Romania. Request our Test Report Sample and we send the report format and the specific test data your channel or project requires.
For the Established Buyer
Batch-consistency inspection under our ISO 9001 system samples and tests production batch by batch, so your reorder matches your first order. On top of that, German SKZ and DVGW audits independently verify our production stays within specification, container after container — so consistency is proven, not promised.
