PEX-B Pipe
PEX-B Pipe Manufacturer — Oxygen-Barrier Heating Pipe, SGS Certified
PEX-B covered pipe for radiant floor heating — 16×2.0 wall and 16 / 22 sizes on coils, with an oxygen-barrier layer, sized to fit our brass manifolds as one system. Manufacturing since 1993. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CE & SGS certified.
We manufacture and export PEX-B underfloor heating pipe to importers, distributors, projects and OEM/private-label partners across the Gulf, North Africa, Southern & Eastern Europe and Latin America.
I. The Pipe
PEX-B Covered Pipe, Sized to the Manifold
The pipe is where the heat actually moves — it has to hold pressure and temperature for the life of the floor, and never contaminate the water it carries.

What You’re Buying In bobina
One covered pipe, two working sizes
WARMHAUS manufactures PEX-B covered pipe for underfloor heating in 16×2.0 and 16 / 22 sizes, supplied on coils and dimensioned to fit our brass manifold outlets directly — no adaptors, no mismatched threads.
Because pipe and manifold are produced on our own extrusion and machining lines rather than bought in from separate suppliers, distributors stock one compatible system and installers lay loops without hunting for parts that fit.

II. The Barrier
Oxygen-Barrier PEX-B — Protecting the Whole System
An underfloor heating loop is a closed circuit — and the enemy inside it is oxygen.
Without a barrier, oxygen diffuses through the pipe wall into the heating water and slowly corrodes the metal parts it touches: the manifold, the circulating pump, the boiler. WARMHAUS PEX-B pipe is a covered pipe with an oxygen-barrier layer, engineered to limit that diffusion so the system it feeds stays clean and lasts.
As a general industry reference, oxygen-barrier pipe for closed heating circuits is commonly specified to the DIN 4726 diffusion limit; the exact barrier specification on our pipe is confirmed on the technical data sheet. Barrier material, layer structure and diffusion values: available on request.
III. Sizes & Ratings
Temperature, Pressure & Design Life — Built to Stay Buried
A heating pipe is embedded under screed for the life of the building. Temperature resistance, pressure integrity and design life decide whether a floor ever needs opening up again.
| Pipe | Coil ref. | Size | Typical duty | Oxygen barrier | Coil length |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PEX-B Covered Pipe 16 | 1216 | 16 × 2.0 mm | Residential loops — the workhorse size | Yes — barrier layer (spec: available on request) | available on request |
| PEX-B Covered Pipe 22 | 1622 | 22 mm (wall: available on request) | Larger loops & manifold trunk lines | Yes — barrier layer (spec: available on request) | available on request |
| Rating | General industry reference | WARMHAUS PEX-B value |
|---|---|---|
| Continuous operating temperature | PEX heating pipe is commonly rated for continuous operation around 70–95 °C, with short-term peaks above that | stated on the TDS |
| Working pressure (PN) | Stated as a PN class on heating-pipe data sheets | stated on the TDS |
| Oxygen diffusion | Barrier pipe for closed heating circuits is commonly specified to the DIN 4726 limit | stated on the TDS |
| Design life | PEX heating systems are commonly referenced against 50-year design conditions | stated on the TDS |
Figures in the reference column are general industry knowledge, not WARMHAUS measured values. WARMHAUS PEX-B pipe is manufactured in our own plants under ISO 9001 quality control and SGS / CE certification; the exact working pressure, maximum working temperature and design-life rating for our pipe are stated on the technical data sheet.
IV. Coils & Packaging In bobina, in container
Supplied on Coils — Planned for Container Loads
The coil format is what a distributor actually stocks and an installer actually unrolls.

Lay It, Don’t Fight It Facile da posare
Good to unroll, good to ship
WARMHAUS supplies 16 and 22 PEX-B pipe on coils, with the 16×2.0 size as the workhorse for residential loops and 22 for larger loops and trunk lines. PEX-B unrolls and lays into the floor with low memory, so installers spend less time fighting the pipe and more time laying loops.
Per-coil length, coils per carton, carton dimensions and container-load quantities are confirmed on the packing specification, so you can plan stock and freight precisely. Coil length, carton specs, container loading, pipe marking and colour options: available on request.
V. One System One system
Pipe to Manifold, One Compatible System
Buying pipe from one brand and a manifold from another is where on-site problems start — mismatched diameters, adaptors that leak, a handover that stalls.
Dimensioned to our manifolds
The 16 and 22 PEX-B pipe connects directly to WARMHAUS brass underfloor heating manifolds (2 to 8 ports) and fittings — no third-party adaptors, no mismatched threads on site.
One manufacturer behind every part
Pipe, manifold, actuators and thermostat all come from one manufacturer running its own extrusion, injection-moulding and machining lines — not a trading company assembling parts from unrelated suppliers. That means batch consistency across the whole radiant loop, from trunk line to control, and one quality system to audit.
One warranty, one supplier
One compatible system means one warranty and one supplier to hold accountable — not a shopping list of parts you hope will fit together when the screed is already scheduled.
VI. Certified & Ordering Certificato, ordinabile
Third-Party Certified — and How to Order
A pipe buried under screed for decades is not something buyers gamble on. WARMHAUS PEX-B pipe is manufactured on our own production lines under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and holds EU CE and Swiss SGS certification, so a buyer can ask for the documents and check them rather than taking our word for anything.
These are the credentials that open plumbing wholesale channels and pass project tenders across the Gulf, North Africa, Southern and Eastern Europe and Latin America. Tell us the sizes, quantity and target market, and we quote the pipe on its own or as part of the complete underfloor heating system. There is no minimum order quantity, so trial orders are welcome, and our standard lead time is 45 days from order confirmation.

FAQ Common questions
PEX-B Underfloor Heating Pipe — Frequently Asked Questions
We manufacture PEX-B covered pipe in 16×2.0 and 16 / 22 sizes, supplied on coils. The 16 mm size handles most residential loops; 22 mm suits larger loops and trunk lines. One size range covers apartments to villas, so you stock a single compatible line.Exact coil length and 22 mm wall thickness: on the spec sheet.
Yes — our PEX-B pipe is a covered pipe with an oxygen-barrier layer. In a closed heating loop it limits oxygen diffusing into the water, which protects the manifold, pump and boiler from corrosion. As a general reference, barrier pipe is commonly specified to the DIN 4726 limit. Our exact barrier data: available on request — on the TDS.
Yes. The 16 and 22 PEX-B pipe is dimensioned to fit WARMHAUS brass manifolds (2 to 8 ports) and fittings directly, because pipe, manifold, actuators and thermostat are all produced by one manufacturer on its own lines. One system means one warranty and no on-site adaptor problems that stall a project handover.
PEX-B is engineered for the low flow temperatures of radiant floor heating — as a general industry reference, PEX heating pipe is commonly rated around 70–95 °C continuous. The exact working pressure (PN), maximum temperature and design life for our pipe: available on request — request the current TDS.
Yes. WARMHAUS has been manufacturing since 1993, and our PEX-B pipe is produced under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CE and SGS. EU CE marking and Swiss SGS certification are the documents tender committees and customs officers actually accept, and we also hold Russian PT certification. We export to Europe, Asia, Africa and other markets, with certificate documents and destination-country compliance papers for customs and tenders. There is no minimum order quantity, so trial orders are welcome; our standard lead time is 45 days from order confirmation.
