Factory & Manufacturing La fabbrica
WARMHAUS is a manufacturer, not a trading company. Our PPR, PEX and brass piping and underfloor-heating systems are produced at our own plant in Bologna, Italy — extrusion, injection-moulding and brass machining under one roof, certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, German SKZ and German DVGW. This is the factory an importer can inspect, a project can cite, and an agent can show a client.
I. The Plant Lo stabilimento
One fact changes the whole deal: a manufacturer controls capacity, consistency and lead time. A trading company can only pass your order down a chain it does not own.
Bologna, dal 1970 Emilia-Romagna
WARMHAUS manufactures in Bologna, in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy — the same industrial belt that made Italy a world reference for precision mechanical and engineering production. This is our own plant: the PPR pipe, the injection-moulded fittings and the machined brass that make up our four systems and 270+ SKUs are produced here, under our own quality management, since 1970.
For an importer weighing an exclusive territory or a project facing a supplier review, that is the difference between a promise and a plant you can verify.

II. The Processes Le lavorazioni
A pipe brand that only extrudes tube and buys everything else in is not a full-system manufacturer. WARMHAUS runs all three processes a complete piping system needs — in one plant, engineered to seat and seal together.
Raw PP-R and PEX resin becomes pipe on our extrusion lines: PPR pipe for hot- and cold-water supply, PEX pipe for underfloor heating. Line count, machine models and diameter ranges — Coming soon, confirmed on request.
Elbows, tees, reducers, sockets and unions are moulded in-house, so every fitting is engineered to weld and seal with our own pipe — not sourced from an unrelated factory and hoped to match on site. Machine count and tonnage — Coming soon.
Ball valves, manifolds, inserts and threaded fittings are machined from brass in the same plant, closing the system with metal we control. CNC and machine-shop details — Coming soon, confirmed on request.
III. Capacity La capacità
For an importer holding stock or a project on a fixed schedule, capacity is the whole question: can this factory keep you supplied without running dry in peak season?
As a manufacturer producing across four systems and 270+ SKUs in Bologna, WARMHAUS is built to supply importers and projects by the container, not the carton — and because production is ours, we control the schedule rather than waiting in another factory’s queue. Exact monthly output and container lead times are shared per enquiry, so you plan your stock and your tender against real numbers, not brochure numbers.
IV. Raw Materials Le materie prime
Made in Italy only earns its premium if the raw material earns it too. A finished pipe is only as good as the resin it was extruded from and the brass it was machined from.
Serious buyers ask what goes in before they ask what comes out. WARMHAUS produces its PPR system from PP-R (polypropylene random copolymer) resin, its underfloor-heating pipe from PEX, and its valves and manifolds from brass — with material selection built for hot- and cold-water supply and radiant-heating service. Exact resin grade, brass alloy and supplier are documented and available to serious partners on request, so your technical team and your tender can verify the input, not just trust the label.
| System | Input material | Grade & source |
|---|---|---|
| PPR system | PP-R (polypropylene random copolymer) resin | Exact grade & source — Coming soon, documented on request |
| Underfloor-heating pipe | PEX | Grade — Coming soon, documented on request |
| Valves & manifolds | Brass | Exact alloy — Coming soon, documented on request |
| Hygiene approvals | Beyond SKZ / DVGW | Coming soon |
V. Quality Control Il controllo qualità
The difference between a factory and a middleman shows up at the QC bench: a middleman inspects on arrival; a manufacturer controls quality at the source.
Controlled at the source Qualità alla fonte
Because WARMHAUS both makes the product and checks it, the batch consistency an importer needs for reorders — and a project needs for spec compliance — is built into production. Our systems are certified to ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management, and independently validated by German SKZ and German DVGW — authorities that do not certify a supplier that cannot show a real production and testing process.
In-house testing covers the checks a piping system lives or dies on: dimensional tolerance, pressure and thermal performance, and joint integrity. Specific test methods, equipment and automation level — Coming soon, confirmed on request.

Everything on this page protects two things on your side of the deal: your supply and your reputation. You are not just buying pipe; you are buying a supply chain you can stand behind.
Real capacity and one controlled source, so an exclusive territory is a bet you can hold — without fear of the tap running dry in peak season. Become a distributor
Factory-owned production and ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / SKZ / DVGW that survives a tender’s supplier review — with one source to trace if a batch is ever questioned. Project supply
A verifiable Italian factory you can show a client — “I have seen this factory”, not “I hope it is real” — with the Made-in-Italy origin kept on the product. Private label & OEM
Real capacity figures, project references and audit results — Coming soon, added only when confirmed. We do not publish invented factory data or case numbers.
